Jeff Parker happily reminds us that today is “Atlas Day” and that we are to report to our local shops to pick up Agents of Atlas #1, which hits store shelves this afternoon. I’d definitely be ungrateful — considering all the great work he and Leonard Kird did in breathing new life into these characters — if I didn’t enthusiastically pass those marching orders along. Unfortunately, finances being what they are I’m unable to drop #3.99 a piece on the monthly pamphlets these days (with very few exceptions) but rest assured that I’ll be pre-ordering my copy of the first Agents of Atlas TPB collection! I can’t wait to read it and Carlo Pagulayan’s art has exactly the kind of dynamic quality and attention to detail that these characters so rightly deserve. Still can’t believe Namora is back!
